About Us

Dennis F. Sterrett is a licensed attorney in Pennsylvania and is co-owner of Sunrise Closing Services, LLC. He was born in Erie, Pennsylvania, and has lived here most of his life. Dennis is a graduate of McDowell High School, The Pennsylvania State University, Main Campus, and the Dickinson School of Law. He was in private practice for over 37 years before becoming co-owner of Sunrise Closing Services. His areas of expertise have evolved through many areas of law over the years, but now he devotes his practice to real estate and basic Wills and Trusts.

Dennis is the father of four, grandfather of six, and currently resides in Lawrence Park with his wife, Jean.

Laura is a licensed title agent and attorney in Pennsylvania and a co-owner of Sunrise Closing Services, LLC. She was born in Greenville, Pennsylvania and is a graduate of Conneaut Lake High School, the University of Pittsburgh and the Duquesne University School of Law. For over seven years, her law practice has concentrated in all types of Real Estate and Title Insurance matters. In addition to being a Pennsylvania licensed title agent, she is also an Approved Attorney for several title companies: First National Insurance Services, Penn Attorneys Title Insurance Company, MCSB Insurance Services, Barristers Land Abstract Company, and Northwest Settlement.

Laura is a member of the Pennsylvania and Erie County Bar Associations, the Pennsylvania Land Title Association, and the Mortgage Bankers Association of Northwestern Pennsylvania. She currently serves as the President of the Montessori Regional Charter School Board of Trustees, and is a board member of the Bayfront East Side Taskforce, Inc., a local neighborhood revitalization agency.

Laura currently resides in Millcreek Township with her husband John, and their three children.

Greg is a licensed title agent and attorney in Pennsylvania and a co-owner of Sunrise Closing Services, LLC. He was born in Steelton, Pennsylvania but has lived in the Erie area for most of his life. Greg is a graduate of Iroquois High School, Penn State Erie-The Behrend College and the Duquesne University School of Law. Prior to opening his own law practice and founding Sunrise Closing Services, LLC, with Attorney Laura Mott, Greg served as Pennsylvania State Counsel for a national title insurance underwriter. In that position, he was responsible for advising title insurance agents throughout Pennsylvania on complex legal questions regarding title clearance issues and resolving title insurance claims. In addition, he previously served on the Title Insurance Rating Bureau of Pennsylvania, the organization charged with setting policies and rates for Pennsylvania title insurance agents.

Greg is a member of the Pennsylvania and Erie County Bar Associations and the Pennsylvania Land Title Association. He currently serves as a member of the School Board of St. James School in Erie, and is active as a girl’s softball coach for the Harborcreek Little League.

Greg currently resides in Harborcreek Township with his wife Jill and their two children.
